God’s Word in the hands of the people is a simple, yet powerful tool that is bringing transformation to individuals, families, and communities. UBP distributes Bibles through established, ongoing partnerships with local ministries and churches in Uganda who demonstrate a commitment to outreach and discipleship. Wow…..320
I received a report from Uganda today detailing the 320 Bibles that have been distributed so far. It’s a list of individuals who have received Bibles, and other ministries or pastors who we have partnered with to equip with Bibles for their outreach or discipleship programs. As I looked over the list and short descriptions I couldn’t help but smile knowing that each name represents a unique and individual story of God working in someone’s life.

I’ll be sharing some individual stories here in the coming weeks, but here are some of the overall highlights:
- 56 Bibles distributed in prisons and slums
- 56 Bibles given to new believers at an annual youth gathering in Jinja, Uganda
- 35 Bibles distributed at a youth conference in western Uganda
- 15 Bibles given to the Dean of Students at Kampala International University for a staff fellowship (this is also cool because KIU is a Muslim owned university)
- 100 Bibles taken to Moi University in Kenya to aid a recently launched student fellowship and distribute to new believers (yes, our impact has extended beyond Uganda!)
- At least 8 Muslims who have made a decision to follow Christ so far
